Raggedy Ann & Andy Comprehensive Child Care Center is a full service child care center licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services to serve children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our child care center is a division of the Joan A. Male Family Support Center. In addition to offering quality child care and education from an experienced staff of teachers, we have access to social workers trained to work with young children and families, as well as a 24-hour Parent Help-Line for parents in crisis (892-2172).
Our Raggedy Ann & Andy Comprehensive Child Care Center is open from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Our child care program offers full day, part day, before and after school care, and school-age summer programs. Our Center is conveniently located at 60 Dingens Street, Buffalo, NY; we are close to the I-90 and I-190. We currently have a contract with Erie County to accept their child care assistance payments.
In addition to the above-mentioned child care services, our Center is maintaining a waiting list for the 2008-2009 school year as one of the Buffalo Public School District’s community-based sites providing Universal Pre-Kindergarten services. Our Universal Pre-K classroom is an "extended day" program which is lead by a Teacher with New York State Certification in Early Childhood, plus a full-time Teacher’s Aide. Your child will receive a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. This classroom is a bilingual learning environment for children who reside in Buffalo and will be four years old by January 1st. Call the Center Director for more information.
