PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The Program Director is responsible for the overall management and monitoring of assigned Programs (program descriptions available upon request), providing direct supervision to Clinical Director(s) and Supervisors. Program Director assists the Executive Director in the evaluation of the Programs consistent with New York State Office of Mental Health and Office of Children and Family Services regulations as well as mandates and contractual agreements. Program Director assures the mission and vision of Joan A. Male Family Support Center is fully implemented and operationalized day to day throughout the program areas. Participates in the strategic planning and development of new initiatives and strategies that will promote the agency mission and vision. Program Director is responsible for grant writing, including identifying, defining and developing funding sources to support existing and planned programs and activities, as well as coordinating the development, writing and submission of grant proposals to third-party entities. Program Director is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance of programs supervised and funded by third-party public and private sources.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s in Social Work/Human Services with three years clinical supervisory experience in an agency serving multi-problem children & families and one year grant writing and contract administration; or an unusual combination of education and experience.

Lead teacher with a minimum CDA or 2 year degree and 2 years training or experience working with children.
Teacher Aides with high school or equivalent and 1 year experience with children. Excellent communication and organizational skills. MAT trained a plus.
